MISSION STATEMENT/DEPARTMENTAL PURPOSE:
Acquire, develop and maintain an attractive, creative, efficient, responsive and interpretive park system that enriches the physical, mental, social and economic health of all citizens, while protecting, conserving and enhancing natural, historical, cultural and threatened resources.

2006 Outdoor Recreation Plan

The St. Croix County Outdoor Recreation Plan was adopted January 17, 2006 by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors.  The Plan has numerous photos, maps and graphics and is quite large.  Due to its size, it has been broken into four sections for easier downloading.  The complete document is also provided for printing.  If you have trouble downloading the document, please contact the Parks Department, a paper copy or electronic copy of the plan is available for a fee.

St. Croix County Parks and Recreation Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan

The St. Croix County Parks and Recreation Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan was adopted on March 18th, 2008 by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors. The Plan has numerous maps and graphics and as a result, has created a very large electronic file. Due to its size, the document is broken up into two separate sections for easier downloading. If you have trouble downloading the document, please contact the Parks Department, a hard copy or electronic copy of the plan is available for a reasonable fee.

Firewood Notice: 

Effective June 8, 2009 Firewood may no longer be brought into the park. This ban also includes pallets, lumber scraps and any other wood. If you have firewood with you: 1. Take it back home, or 2. Place it in a sealed container or bag and keep it in your vehicle for the duration of your stay. Failure to comply with this policy could result in revocation of camping permit and/or issuance of a citation.
