Kinnickinnic County Forest

St. Croix County owns approximately 80
acres of forestland in Section 26 of Kinnickinnic Township. The forest is
located on Evergreen Drive approximately a half mile east of County Road JJ.
The forest is managed by the County Parks Department and is under the
authority of the Land and Water Conservation Committee.
The County has owned and managed the
land since May of 1959. The site was originally obtained for youth forestry
education. The Kinnickinnic Forest is managed for
multiuse, including timber production, recreation and education.
Existing facilities include a parking lot
and hiking trails.
The forest was thinned in 2006 and is open
for hunting.
