Behavioral Health Services
MISSION STATEMENT/DEPARTMENTAL PURPOSE: The mission of the Behavioral Health programs and staff is to provide information, education, treatment and support to individuals and families affected by alcohol or drug abuse or dependency. SERVICES: INTERVENTION: Crisis-oriented assessment and referral; includes help for families who are preparing for an intervention to get a family member into treatment. REFERRAL SERVICES: We can help make arrangements for detoxification, inpatient treatment, and halfway house services via our contracted provider network. OUTPATIENT: We provide assessment services and counseling for individuals who are experiencing concerns or problems related to their use of alcohol or drugs. We also offer counseling services for persons affected by someone else’s use of alcohol or drugs. CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES: We can help coordinate chemical dependency treatment with other support services offered by our agency to ensure clients receive high quality services and maximize their chances for a successful recovery. INTOXICATED DRIVE PROGRAM: We perform court ordered Intoxicated Driver Assessments for St. Croix County residents convicted of Operating While Intoxicated or related offenses. The Intoxicated Driver Assessment process results in a driver safety plan. Driver Safety Plan recommendations range from educational programs to inpatient treatment. If the driver does not comply with the process a report is sent to the DOT, which results in the loss of all operating privileges until State requirements are met. SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM (SAP) SERVICES: In collaboration with Holy Family Hospital and MEDTOX Laboratory, we meet the federal regulations for evaluation and referral services. ELIGIBILITY: These services are available for all residents of St. Croix County. |
