Testing Results
Data for the maps was derived from the Drinking
Water Testing Programs held in various locations throughout St. Croix County
starting in 2003. Testing programs were voluntary and were offered to private
well owners in each town or in a central location for group of neighboring
towns. Data summaries are aggregated on the basis of a quarter-quarter section
(approximately 35 to 40 acres). In the cases where there were multiple
participants in a particular quarter-quarter section, the resulting number was
an average of all the results from within that quarter-quarter section.
