PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

	Prepare, revise and implement studies and plans for land use, population, housing, natural resources, parks and other recreation, historic preservation, transportation and economy of St. Croix County.
	Provide technical assistance to County communities for the preparation and implementation of local community plans.
	Apply for and administer various planning and community development grants on behalf of St. Croix County and local communities.
	Prepare and maintain large scale, half section parcel maps for the unincorporated towns of St. Croix County.
	Develop and maintain the Rural House Numbering System for the unincorporated areas of St. Croix County, including production of maps and map booklets for sale and distribution and issuing of house numbers to new residences.
	Provide various mapping and graphics services for other County committees and departments.
	Provide a variety of planning information, such as general mapping, Census information, floodplain determinations, Census tract, etc. to local officials, citizens, landowners and their agents.
