RECYCLING ORDINANCE

The St. Croix County Planning and Zoning Department is updating the St Croix County Recycling Ordinance (Chapter 43). The County Recycling Ordinance was initially adopted in 1994 and is required as part of an effective recycling program under State law and rules. Since its adoption, there have been many changes in State policy and the waste management industry.

A draft of Chapter 21 – Municipal Solid Waste: Reduction, Recovery and Recycling will be considered for adoption by the St Croix County Board of Supervisors on March 16th, 2010.
