What is ‘Freecycling’ you ask? It is a world wide movement that reduces waste, saves resources and eases the burden on landfills while enabling members to benefit from others in our community. Conceived out of the idea that “one person’s trash is another person’s treasure,” the Freecycycle network uses the internet to connect St Croix County residents to one another to find new homes for perfectly good stuff. What does this mean to you? It’s a great way to get clothes, books, and other little items to computers, fridges and cars for free or an opportunity for you to get rid of the good usable stuff that you don’t need.
