St. Croix County is holding
an open house to present comprehensive planning materials for the County,
and three local communities on Wednesday November 18, 2009 from 4-7 p.m. at
the Cashman Conference Center, Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, New
Richmond. All residents, organizations and elected officials are encouraged
to attend.
The open house will provide local communities, citizens and property owners
the opportunity to review and comment on project materials for St. Croix
County, the Village of Deer Park, and the towns of Emerald and Richmond,
including:

St. Croix County is part of the West
Central Wisconsin Collaborative Planning Project led by the West Central
Regional Planning Commission (WCWRPC) out of Eau Claire. The WCWRPC along
with four counties and 21 local communities applied for and received a
comprehensive planning grant to complete local, county and regional plans.
In addition to assistance from the Regional Plan Commission, St. Croix
County is assisting the Village of Deer Park and towns of Emerald and
Richmond in developing their plans. These four government bodies are working
together to jointly hold the majority of their public participation events.
